Bobby Joseph lies down with his children, Jevon, left, 3, and Demetrio, 4, while tucking them in for the night at his parents' home in Golden Gate. "I fall asleep with them. If I move, they wake up," says Bobby, who bunks in with his boys when he is home on leave. This night he will wait until they fall asleep before returning to North Carolina. "Usually, I leave at night because I don't want to leave them. It's hard to leave," he says.
