Bobby Joseph gives the thumbs up that he is OK and awake when one of his fellow Marines checks on him when he didn't make it to 7 a.m. formation at the barracks. Joseph's alarm clock was going off for close to an hour before he woke up at 7:14. He sleeps on his couch at night instead of his bed so he doesn't roll over on his injured leg.
