Hula, a Catahoula leopard dog, playfully chews on the fingers of friend Rafael Arroyo, left, while being dried by her owner Jorge Arndt, right, at Estero Community dog park Friday morning. Arndt comes every morning to play and exercise with Hula and were at the park the first day it opened. The Catahoula is the Louisiana state dog, having been crossed with a Catahoula Indian domestic dog and a dog brought over by Spanish settlers.
