Nature's Wonders center Counselor Gloria Rojas helps Ryan Utter search for an octopus inside a tank during an open-house visit on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008. As a part of their guest services, the Ritz Carlton offers children staying in the hotel a chance to learn about Florida's ecosystem by attending a day-camp inside the Nature's Wonders center. The kids spend the day interacting with various marine animals and learning about what species live near the hotel. At the end of the day, the Nature's Wonders center opens its doors for an open house, during which many children bring their parents. "It's interesting to see the kids come back with their parents in tow," said the hotel's Master Naturalist Randy Sarton, who oversees the center. "It's great to see that they've learned something."
