This is a picture of Tom and Bernadette Carroll's youngest grandchild, Tommy. The photo was taken in November, two months after Tom's death. Tommy is wearing the helmet his grandfather wore for over 30 years while a fireman and then an officer of the NYFD. Tommy; his brother, Jack; and all of their cousins know that their Pop will always be watching over them.
