Drilling begins for a new water line to run beneath the Jolley Bridge, supplying the city with water from the utility's off-island Marco Lakes facility. The old pipe is undergoing temporary repairs for leaks to sustain it through the months it will take to drill into the bedrock for the new water line. Divers in the Marco River will be performing those repairs.
