The distinction belongs to the 1997 edition, which kicked off at 7:03 that morning 11 years ago with the mercury stuck on a frigid 36 degrees. Roughly 1,400 runners  lined up on Fifth Avenue South to compete in the Naples Daily News Half Marathon on Sunday, January 20, 2008.
