See larger Gladiolus Drive in Fort Myers is undergoing an extensive widening project that in this stretch of the road will soon go from two lanes to four. The Gladiolus Widening project started about a month ago and is slated to be completed late in 2010 and will improve traffic flow on Gladiolus Drive. The Lee County preserve land sits both on the north and south side of Gladiolus Drive between A & W Bulb Road and Hegie Road and are overseen by the Conservation 20/20 land program.
