The energy can then cleanse and heal the body. "I had a bad hip when I started, but it's gotten better through yoga," said Malen, who has been practicing for five years. Malen tries to come to the beach to practice every day, usually spending 45 minutes between running and yoga. "The beach is so calming and beautiful," she said.
