Turtles and wildlife enjoy a few more feet of water in their habitat located near the corner of Balmoral and Granada. The man-made pond's water level was impacted by the dewatering for the STRP project, but the water level returned to normal as dewatering was completed last week on Balmoral. However, the water level will likely go down again as dewatering begins this week on Granada. City officials expect the pond will return to average levels once all the dewatering in this section of the Sheffield sewer district is complete.
