See larger Marco Island firefighter/paramedic Jerry Adams was pleased to make his way out of a steaming hot stairwell in Gulfview Condominiums and back to his coworkers waiting outside to hear the results of his team's high-rise training exercise Wednesday. The high-rise training exercises were held all week long in order to provide data for Battalion Chief Scott Schultz and to help the Marco Fire Rescue, Isle Capri Fire and Collier EMS best respond to real life high-rise fires as well as help the men increase their fitness and practice. Adams' team on Wednesday included Marco firefighters Anthony Gordon, Ray Ulloa and Munier Gattas (a.k.a. Chile Dog).
