Paint is splattered in the shape of a heart in an area where neighbors say Tia Poklemba's blood had stained Pioneer Road in San Carlos Park. Poklemba was found seriously injured on this dead end road around 2:30 a.m. on August 8, 2008 and died soon after. The suspect in the death, 22-year-old Luis Gonzalez, is believed to be in Mexico, but can't be extradited on the current charge of 'leaving the scene of a fatal accident,' according to Mike Carr, the lead homicide detective on the case.
