Alex Nicolau, 6, right, and Hanah Samuel, 7, upper left, are lifted in chairs by camp counselors and other students while playing the roles of a bride and groom, during Jewish mock wedding at Camp Gan Israel, put on by Chabad of Naples at Seagate Elementary School in North Naples. In Jewish tradition the bride and groom are lifted in chair to symbolize a blessing of being supported and uplifted by their friends and family. About 80 children are participating in the four-week summer camp where each day has a different theme to teach the students about Jewish customs and about being good citizens. The themes include a Brachot Day, which means blessings day, and a Mitzvah Day, which is a day dedicated to good deeds. Lexey Swall-Bobay/Staff
