Angler Paul Szemplinski holds a 10-inch bonefish, caught on shrimp and released 19 miles west of New Pass on a Fishbuster charter on July 15. This catch was a surprise in deep water, as bonefish typically prefer shallow water fish and are not frequently seen in local waters. They are far more prominent in the Keys.
