Katie Parra, 11 has been coming to Pinewoods Elementary School's after school program since she was in third grade.  Parra, now in fifth grade still attends the after school program to complete her homework, and then helps the teachers sort papers.  Katie's had been nominated to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in June in Washington, D.C. by her teacher Mrs. Rachael Hengstebeck her favorite subject is science and hopes to learn how to be a better person and become more responsible by attending the conference.
