Every Tuesday is packing day for the Green Village Co-Op. Danielle Holiman, foreground, sort's natural cheddar cheese for co-op members to be packed in their bags of produce for the week. Cheese is not always guaranteed in the list of organic groceries, but is available occasionally. Co-op members receive fruits and vegetables that are seasonal and local to Florida as much as possible. In summer months Florida is the slow season and not a lot is grown and harvested so the co-op receives seasonal produce from other states. Photographed on May 5, 2009.
