The first ever Baby Shower for a member of the Bonita Springs Womans Club took place at our clubhouse on Childers Street on Tuesday, May 5 for Fleyneth Smith who is expecting a baby boy in July. She received many beautiful gifts not only for the baby but also for herself. She is very excited because she and her husband have waited more than five years for this blessed event. Our $500 scholarship awards went to Rachel Mielke who is going to the University of South Florida and to Gena Selinas who is going to Edison State College, both are from Estero High School.
