Virginia Strousberg, 49, could be representative of the working class who slip through the cracks in our medical system. She'll receive dialysis for the next five hours, finally leaving the clinic around 10 p.m. Suffering from kidney failure, she's exhausted her insurance after running up $1 million in medical bills and is unable to acquire gap coverage currently. She's hopeful Florida Governor Charlie Christ signs a bill into law allowing for supplemental Medigap coverage for people under 65 years of age which would help cover medical costs and allow her to have a kidney transplant.
