See larger Pine Ridge Road interchange, looking north: A spokesman for the Interstate 75 Road Expansion (iROX) writes: “The first lane of ‘friction course,’ a pavement material with superior traction, in the outside northbound lane had been laid the night before this photo was made. All three northbound lanes have the friction course between Golden Gate Parkway and Pine Ridge Road. Crews will lay friction course on all 30 miles of the northbound lanes up to Colonial Boulevard and then will come back and pave all of the southbound lanes.”
