Oh that Mike Bode, He is still a character after all these years. I used to hang with mike and the gang at the best western tiki bar several times a week, back in 1979/80/81. He was a jokester back then and very outspoken, since his family was one of the first major business families along the beach. He and his first took me under their wing sort of and befriended me. I would tell you more but those days a lot of brain cells were killed off. Was at his wedding on the beach(1st)one. I to this day miss having had to leave Bonita Springs, in 81 when death in family, mike and K(#1) made it financially possible for me to fly back to NY. If anyone reads this let Mike Know that his kindness in my worst hour was never forgotten, I would like to repay the debt unless he has charged interest from 1981 to 2010. Please tell him to contact me throught he email here at the newpaper website. I have it so people are allowed to email me, would like to get a check in the mail soon!
