Fred Kramer of The Kramer Lawfirm in Marco Island stands face-to-face with the buyer of a short sale, Mark Williamson, on Tuesday afternoon as the two battle it out to stake claim to an $84,000 code fine paid to the city before the sale of the property on Amazon Court. Kramer, represented the seller, Jim Hanson, owner of MI Development, LLC, in Cape May, N.J., saying Hanson, not Williamson, took the loss on the property and fines. Neither won the mitigation request.
