On April 9, Meinhardt Raabe, the eldest surviving Munchkin from the classic 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz," died. He was 94. Some people in Naples may remember Raabe, who portrayed the coroner, as one of the Munchkins who paid a visit to the Naples Community Hospital (now called the NCH Downtown Naples Hospital) infant day-care center in 1998. In this photo, from Debbie Curry of NCH Healthcare System, Raabe appears at the far right. Readers with local memorabilia to share are encouraged to call the Perspective editor at 263-4773.
