A large fountain with sits outside the entry to Via Veneto, one of several communities in Treviso Bay in East Naples. The fountain, overgrown with landscaping, doesn't work properly - just one sign of the financial problems Treviso Bay is having. The community of Via Veneto is "insolvent" according to real estate agent Bill Westman who represents porperties in the community. "The only money coming in is from people who live here," said Westman. "There's no money to pay for maintenance." The developer of Treviso Bay, V.K. Development Corp. of Wisconsin, is trying to fight off foreclosure, but he golf course and the resort-style community in eastern Collier County are now in the hands of a receiver. Lexey Swall/Staff
