Tyler Shepard a Jounior at the school and amember of the football team at teh monument. Shepard said "He was always my hero". Gulf Coast High School dedicated the field at Shark Stadium as Tudryn Field to honor Frank Tudryn, the late football coach, who died in May following a battle with cancer. Scores showed up for a fall sports pep rally and rededication of the field. Tudryn coached 10 of the 12 seasons since the school opened in 1998.
