The Naples Mustangs 11U team competed in the Florida USSSA District 2 Championship Cup Series at North Collier Regional Park on May 21-23, 2010. They beat the South Florida Swamp Rats in two games winning 10-2 Friday night and 5-3 on Saturday. They lost the first game to the PSN Eagles from Miami 5-4 on Saturday in pool play. They beat the Cape Coral Canes in the Championship game 5-1. Head Coach, Stacey Howell said "We didn't have our best tournament offensively but defense and pitching won this tournament."
