Dr. Evelynne Miller of Harborside Animal Clinic, greets Molly, a basset hound, while Molly's owner, Terri Schawb, right, looks on, on Feb. 25, 2010. Miller said she was excited to see Molly upright and walking again. Molly recently suffered a back injury causing temporary paralysis in her lower half. Schawb said she didn't know what was happening with her dog, and was advised by her regular vet that it might be a neurological disorder and she'd have to be put down. Schawb didn't have the money to get x-rays to find out what Molly's injury was, but said that when she took her dog to Harborside Animal Clinic, they worked out a payment plan for her and saved her dog's life.
