Calusa Elementary School kindergarten students (L-R) Kieran Luers, 5, Blake Buckley, 6, and Tyler Ott, 6, are planting seeds in their schools raised bed garden. John Plug, Founder of Fruit Grow, has helped the school establish a garden to help educate the students on how and where their food comes from. Once each vegetable or fruit is ready for harvest the food is part of the students’ school lunch.
