Second grade students Bryan Perez, 7, center and Riley Mulhern, 7, plant Sorrel in raised beds at their schools' garden at Calusa Elementary with their teacher Mrs. Lippold. The garden is being created to educate the young students about gardening, where food comes from, how it’s grown and how to take care for the plants. Once the vegetables are ready to harvest the students will be able to enjoy the veggies.
