The Fort Myers Police Department is responding to a construction accident near the intersection of State Road 82 and Colonial Boulevard. After arrival police learned that a construction worker on a bulldozer severed a natural gas line and caused an explosion. The construction worker was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital trauma alert. Charlie Robbins
