Having an inspirational quote placed in each of the renovated rooms is one of the design concepts Jennifer Likness is seeing come to life. In the first complete room, the quote says, 'Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.' After spending two to four weeks at a time since 1995 in the General Pediatric Wing of the Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, Jennifer Likness, 28, decided the hospital rooms needed a facelift to improve morale of patients. She started a fund called Jenn's Kids to help raise money for renovations.
