Fort Myers resident Ty Rollins, 42, waits for the bus on the corner of Hampton Street and Old 41 Road on Monday afternoon in Bonita Springs. Rollins takes this bus route to get to work every day between Bonita Springs and Fort Myers then uses his bike to travel the rest of the way south of Old 41 Road. Starting October 6, LeeTran will offer service connecting Lee and Collier counties, called the LinC. The LinC will run from Coconut Point Mall to US 41 and Immokalee Road in Collier County, seven days a week. Bonita Springs City Council will discuss the transit budget on Wednesday.
