See larger Lee Memorial Health System announced today the appointment of Eric Goldsmith, D.O., F.A.C.O.S. as Medical Director of Academic and Medical Education. Goldsmith will oversee academic activity for the health system. Dr. He is a graduate of the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. Goldsmith is a board certified general surgeon who has been with Lee Memorial Health System for five years. He will continue to practice medicine in addition to his new role as Medical Director of Academic and Medical Education.
