A Florida panther killed by a hunter in Georgia in 2008 lies in the bed of a pick-up truck. The hunter, David Adams, 60, formerly of Newnan, Ga., pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court in Atlanta to violating the Endangered Species Act. He was sentenced to two years' probation and fined $2,000. Adams will not be allowed to hunt or obtain a hunting license anywhere in the United States during the term of his probation.
