Double stabbings in Immokalee on Sunday, Dec. 18, led to an arrest.
Alfonso Perez-Lopez, 28, of Immokalee was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, aggravated battery and battery on a law enforcement officer.
Just after noon Sunday, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call made from a pay phone in the 100 block of Third Street North in Immokalee about a possible stabbing. That’s where one victim was found stabbed, but still alive. Another victim was found dead at a nearby trailer, in the 200 block of Third Street North.
