Jason Easterly/Special to the Daily News The historic Shangri-La Inn Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs is reopening as the Shangri-La Healing Waters with the A Season of Giving - Shangri-La, The Past, A Present, The Future event on Dec. 21-22. The certified organic property was purchased by Heather Burch and Addison Fischer as the Lama Hana Trust in order to protect and preserve the land which bears the natural Bonita Spring, according to Burch. The property was opened in the 1920's and is said to have been the first healing spring in North America.
