Jim France special to the Eagle. Jeff Well and Jasmine Hayes of the Collier County Health Department stressing 'Family Preparedness' at Saturday's Community Safety Day at Veterans' Community Park. Marco Island Police and Fire Departments co-sponsored the first ever event which featured various organizations such as law enforcement, fire-rescue, emergency management, military, government and non-government agencies. There were on-hand to educate the community through various displays of equipment, personnel and systems.
