Vince Parker, center, of Naples, sits for a free haircut from student stylist Katy Sparker, a volunteer from the Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology, during a "get help" clinic at St. Matthew's House in East Naples on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011. The afternoon event was organized by the Collier County Hunger and Homeless Coalition as part of the annual Collier County homeless count, and it served both as an outreach to area's homeless, near homeless and people in need, as well as a data collection effort to address homeless and poverty issues in Collier County. In addition to hair cuts, people had access to flu shots, hearing tests, eyesight exams, dental exams, HIV tests, information on veterans' benefits, blankets, towels, clothes, cosmetics and kits of personal hygiene items - all free and donated from area residents. Another "get help" clinic is scheduled to be held Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Sander's Hall in Immokalee. Tristan Spinski/Staff
