Melinda Scouras, a volunteer from FGCU, center, uses ground penetrating radar (GPR) to create an underground image scan of a strip of land at a known grave site for a dozen members of the historic Kirkland family at Rookery Bay National Estuary and Research Reserve in Naples on July 22, 2011.
