Joy Davidson married Aug. 9, 1959, in a magazine cover dress. Her dress also was worn by her cousin Pam Ferguson Dawson in 1966, in Colorado Springs, Colo. Joy's daughter Lisa also wore the gown in 1983 and after 20 years of safe keeping, her youngest daughter Bonnie wanted to wear it. The dress had some damage to the fabric so they made over the dress to be more modern for Bonnie's 2006 wedding in Naples.
