Leo Willette power washes Juan Romero's porch at his house in bonita Springs. Romero, a 25 year Bonita Springs resident is know in his community for helping other. He runs a community driven soccer league for under privileged youth in Bonita Springs, but after losing his job and having knee replacement surgery he was the one in need of help. His house had slipped into disrepair and after his surgery he was unable to fix many of the problems. Local firefighters from the 3444 station learned of Romero's troubles and generously volunteered their time, and energy to taken on the repairs at his home. The firefighters help screen his deck, pressure wash his house and repaint the facade. The project will continue through out the week with workers alternating shifts. Manuel Martinez/Staff
