Collier County Commissioner Jim Coletta announced last week that he wants the Immokalee Master Plan to come for a vote before the commissioners at their meeting on Dec. 13th. The plan calls for two Latin and Caribbean flavor plazas on Main Street between First and Ninth streets, a pedestrian-friendly area. Property on Main Street and Ninth Street already has been purchased for a proposed park that would include a fountain and amphitheater.
