Loghlen Rickard of Ireland, sailing with the Cape Reef Yacht Club in Miami, was ready for any kind of weather at the beginning of United States Optimist Dinghy Association Southeast Championship on Saturday. A total of 246 competitors, ages 9 to 15, raced on Saturday and will continue on Sunday and Monday. They have the opportunity to qualify for national and international races from this competition.
