The 246 competitors are about leave the Marco shore in the United States Optimist Dinghy Association Southeast Championship on Saturday, racing about a mile off the shores of Marco Island. Competitors, ages 9 to 15, raced on Saturday and will continue on Sunday and Monday. They have the opportunity to qualify for national and international races from this competition.
