Lexey Swall/Staff Assistant dock master Donnie Spearman, left, reaches for the rope to help secure a 50-foot Monk for an overnight stay at Naples City Dock on Monday. Naples has a more restrictive limit on the number of days a boater can stay over night on their vessel while at the City Dock than many other Florida coastal communities. City leaders want to see that change by increasing the current four night limit to at least seven nights and perhaps as many as 14 nights. The change requires approval from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
