Mezzoline participated in a program where university students, nstead of working in a traditional classroom setting at the university, meet at the school where they also interact with students and apply theories and best practices learned in their own classroom. Mezzoline, who is now an intern for the school district, spends most of her time with hands-on tutoring and helping in the classroom, all before her graduation.
