Corey Perrine/Staff Photo Illustration Barron Collier's Lisa Dunleavy, 17, is the 2012 fall girls volleyball player of the year. The libero, a defensive specialist position, has been playing since age 12. She's been a standout in helping her team as far as regional playoff games and state ranking for her high school. Her biggest accolade includes four Junior Olympics trips at ages 12 and 15-17. Off the court she maintains a 4.0 grade point average. Next fall she has committed to the University of Miami as a recruited walk on. "Volleyball teaches you how to be a leader, manage your time, be part of a team," Dunleavy said. "I've built most my character from my team and coaches."
