Chris Bradshaw/Special to the Daily News The British-Irish pop band One Direction finished its 2012 U.S. tour at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise on Sunday, July 1. The immensely popular group is set to launch its 2013 U.S. tour at the same location next June and tickets are already selling fast. The group's first album, Up All Night, debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 in November 2011. Its second album is due later this year. Opening the Sunrise show were pop singer-songwriters Olly Murs and Manika.
