Born and raised in Gainesville, Petty headed to Los Angeles in the mid-70s to begin running down his dream. He and the Heartbreakers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002 and continue to tour in support of their acclaimed 2010 album, 'Mojo.' The group opened the show with its 1978 song 'Listen to Her Heart.'
