When Susan Healy, left, and Chris Vernon met while fighting hedge fund swindler David Mobley about a decade ago, they knew they had a common goal. They decided to open a practice together and focus on investor fraud. But they wanted to take it a step further: Healy would educate clients about scams and abusive practices by stockbrokers and investment advisors, and even offer an easy way for anyone to investigate a stockbroker's background.
