Migrant workers in the U.S. are sending more money abroad to their families last year than in 2010. Beatrize Fernandez, a manager who works inside the store said that the majority of remittances are sent to Mexico and Guatemala. She said that between January and Sept. 12 of this year, money sent abroad from Rapid Envios totaled $232,600.
